About
This park is elegant and quiet. While it sits right next to the busy Georgia Street entrance to Stanley Park, the “Dog Bowl” area feels tucked away and peaceful. It’s a very scenic spot where you’ll see sea planes taking off in the distance and massive sculptures (like the famous “Solo” wing) dotting the landscape. It’s perfect for a relaxed morning throw of the ball or a chill sunset hang.
The off-leash area is primarily a rolling grassy meadow (the “grass bowl”). It’s beautifully landscaped and soft on the paws. One of the unique features here is the small rocky beach access—it’s not a wide sandy beach like Kits, but it’s perfect for dogs who like to splash their toes in the saltwater to cool off.
💡 Barkcouver Tip
This is the ultimate starting point for a Seawall walk. We recommend letting your dog burn off their “zoomies” in the Devonian off-leash bowl first, then putting them on a leash for the iconic 10km loop around Stanley Park. Also, keep an eye out for the AIDS Memorial cherry trees—it’s a beautiful, quiet spot for a moment of reflection during your walk.
