Everett Crowley Park
About
Everett Crowley is unique because it is primarily a trail-based off-leash experience. While there is a small, loosely fenced grassy meadow in the center of the park for socializing, the real draw is the extensive network of forested paths.
The park uses a color-coded system to manage its trails:
-
Inner Trails (Yellow): These are the designated off-leash trails. They are generally wide, well-maintained gravel or mulch paths that wind through the “tree tunnels.”
-
Perimeter Trails (Red): These are on-leash only.
-
Sensitive Areas: Some sections (like Avalon Pond) are strictly off-limits to dogs to protect local birdlife and wetlands.
It’s the best spot in East Vancouver for “sniff-oriented” dogs who prefer exploring a forest to chasing a ball in a field.
