Nat Bailey Stadium Dog Park
About
Nat Bailey Stadium Dog Park is a hidden gem for residents of the Riley Park and Hillcrest area. Located on the east side of the historic baseball stadium (near Ontario Street), this is a spacious, unfenced grassy field that serves as a community hub for the neighborhood “pack.”
Because it’s tucked away from the main road and sits at the foot of Little Mountain, it feels remarkably quiet and secluded compared to the busy stadium nearby. The terrain is largely flat and open, making it a favorite for dogs who love a high-speed game of chase or fetch. It’s a very neighborly spot where you’ll often find the same group of local regulars every afternoon, giving it a friendly “backyard” atmosphere.
💡 Barkcouver Tip
If you are visiting during a Vancouver Canadians baseball game or the Winter Farmers Market, parking can be a challenge! We recommend walking or biking in on those days.
Insider Move: If your dog still has energy after the field, put the leash on and take the winding paths up into Queen Elizabeth Park. It’s a bit of a climb, but the view of the city from the top is the best in Vancouver—and your pup will love the forest smells along the way.
