Tecumseh Park
About
Tecumseh Park is a mid-sized, peaceful green space that underwent a major $500,000 renovation to enhance its community features. The off-leash area is an unfenced grassy expanse that takes up almost the entire park, excluding the central playground zone.
The park is mostly flat and easy to navigate, with a lovely curved path surrounding the central play area. It is characterized by its “gentle” grass—well-maintained and soft—making it a favorite for local seniors, families, and dog owners who enjoy a shared social space. The entrance to the park is particularly unique, featuring a small bridge and lush plantings that create a sense of entering a secluded garden.
💡 Barkcouver Tip
Tecumseh Park follows the standard Split Hours for off-leash use: 5:00 am to 10:00 am and 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
Important Boundary Note: While dogs are allowed off-leash in most of the park during these hours, the playground is strictly off-limits. Fortunately, the playground is fenced, which helps keep curious pups away from the kids and that famous red tractor!
