Pandora Park
About
The Pandora Park off-leash area is a modern, fully fenced enclosure that was specifically designed to handle high traffic while keeping things clean. It’s a favorite for “urban” dogs who live in the nearby apartments and heritage suites along East Hastings.
The dog park is split into a “hybrid” terrain: it has a large, durable gravel section that stays mud-free even in the peak of the Vancouver rainy season, and a lush grassy area for softer play. Because it is securely fenced and sits in the middle of a vibrant community, it has a very social, “outdoor living room” feel where neighbors catch up while their pups play.
💡 Barkcouver Tip
Pandora is a high-socialization park. Because it’s fully fenced and centrally located, it can get very busy during “puppy power hour” (5:00 pm – 7:00 pm). If your dog prefers a quieter experience, try visiting in the early afternoon.
Insider Move: After your pup is tuckered out, take a leashed stroll two blocks south to Commercial Drive. Many of the cafes there are very dog-friendly and have “dog parking” or patio seating where you can grab a post-park coffee.
