George Park is a 1.3-hectare green space that feels surprisingly expansive due to its open layout. The off-leash area is an unfenced grassy field that occupies a significant portion of the park’s western side (the side further from the playground).

The terrain here is one of its best features: it has gentle, rolling hills covered in a mix of coniferous and deciduous trees. This makes it a more interesting environment for dogs than a perfectly flat field, providing natural obstacles for chase and “king of the hill” games. Because it’s a neighborhood-focused park, the group of “regulars” is usually quite tight-knit and welcoming.
